The agent of the Colombian national team footballer revealed that personal contract conditions with the ambitious Napoli club have already been agreed, but Rafael Benitez may have to dig deep into his pockets, as the release clause for J. Martinez amounts to 40 million euros. The 26-year-old footballer moved to "Porto" just last summer from the Mexican team "Jaguares de Chiapas." The Portuguese club paid almost 9 million euros for him. In his debut season, J. Martinez scored 26 goals in 30 matches in the Portuguese league, attracting the attention of big European clubs. The player himself would prefer to continue his career in a "Serie A" club, but "Porto" is not willing to negotiate after the striker's excellent performance last season. This summer, Napoli has already strengthened their squad with 9 players, including such famous names as Gonzalo Higuain, Pepe Reina, and Raul Albiol.
