Former "Real" sports director: the club will regret selling G. Higuain © EuroFootball.com

44-year-old former Real Madrid forward Predrag Mijatović insists that the royal club will regret selling Gonzalo Higuaín.

"Napoli" recently acquired a striker from Argentina, a former Spanish vice-champion, for 37 million euros, but according to the former footballer, this is a bad move.

In an interview with "Cadena Cope" radio, the Yugoslav also added that Real bought G. Higuaín as a promising talent.

"He was one of those players who helped win the Spanish 'Primera' championship in 2007," said P. Mijatović.

"I think Real Madrid acted unfairly by selling Higuaín. It's hard to find a striker who can score 25-30 goals per season," added the former "Los Blancos" sports director as well.
