Italian champions Juventus coach Antonio Conte is convinced that in the upcoming season Serie A will be even more competitive and roughly seven teams have a great chance to fight for the first place.
Having triumphed in Italy twice in a row, A. Conte believes that these teams have the most chances: Milan, Roma, Fiorentina, Napoli, Inter, and Lazio.
"This summer is very intense. Many teams are strengthening and I know that the upcoming season will be even tougher and more tenacious," said A. Conte. "Besides us, the Serie A title can be won by other six teams."
"Milan" and "Inter" have a history in Italian football, so they need to be especially careful in the championship. We all know about Napoli, which greatly strengthened its squad this summer.
"Fiorentina" could also contend for the title, especially with the arrival of Mario Gomez. "Lazio" and "Roma" clubs have excellent players as well. The summer is not over, so all these mentioned teams can acquire even more new footballers," the coach said.
The 43-year-old specialist did not spare praises for Juventus' newcomer from Argentina, Carlos Tevez.
"He is an extraordinary player. Works hard and a lot, it is very enjoyable for me to watch him," concluded A. Conte.
