Vilnius "Žalgiris" attack leader Kamil Bilinski will become a free agent after a few months, but even having the opportunity, he will not leave the team until they compete in the UEFA Europa League tournament.
In the first match of the third qualifying round, Žalgiris beat Poznan's "Lech" 1-0 and are one step away from the knockout stage, after which the group stage tournament will follow.
"I have a contract with "Žalgiris" for four more months, but there is a possibility to leave earlier," Bilinski admitted to the Polish press. "Nevertheless, I promised the club president to stay until we play in the Europa League, so all my focus is on the team."
When asked where he plans to continue his career, Bilinski spoke abstractly: "I may return to Poland, but I do not exclude the possibility of trying myself in another country."
Bilinski arrived in Vilnius in 2012 and immediately became a key player. This season in the Lithuanian championship, he scored thirteen goals in 17 matches, also scoring three times in the Europa League.
