One of the most talented goalkeepers in the country Emilijus Zubas will continue his career in Cyprus. The Lithuanian, who belongs to the Riga "Daugava" club, is once again being loaned out – this time to the Larnaca AEK team, as confirmed by the player himself on Futbolo.TV.

The AEK club, located in the resort town of Larnaca, is one of the most popular in Cyprus. Last season, AEK finished fourth in the local championships, and in the 2011-2012 season they competed in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League.

The club, founded in 1994, sets high goals before each season and invites many capable foreign players to join their ranks. Currently, AEK has contracts with players from eleven different countries. The Lithuanian is expected to hold the position of the main goalkeeper, which should not come as a surprise, considering the miracles E. Zubas performed while playing for the Belchatow GKS team in Poland.

The Lithuanian himself assured Futbolo.TV that he is happy to be in Cyprus: "The conditions here are excellent, and the level of the team is quite high. AEK has many loyal fans and is fighting for top positions. I hope to improve here and gain valuable experience."
