The Lithuanian champions won the first leg 1-0, so full of ambition, they travel to Poland for the first time in the club's history to reach the fourth stage - the knockout rounds, where advancing would mean participation in the group stage tournament.
"This is probably the most important match for 'Žalgiris' since the team was reestablished," said the club's sports director Mindaugas Nikoličius. "Group stage matches? Why not dream about it? In the draw, we were next to the unseeded teams, so we needed luck and so far it hasn't left us."
