Doneck's "Shakhtar" club has acquired another Brazilian.
The Ukrainian team was joined by attacking winger Bernard, who came from "Atletico Mineiro."
The footballer was recently linked with "Porto," "Arsenal," and "Tottenham" teams, but will now wear the "Shakhtar" jersey.
The winger, who will turn 21 in September, signed a five-year contract, and the Ukrainian club paid 25 million euros for him.
The not very tall, 168 cm winger has represented the Brazilian national team five times and has played sporadically in the Confederations Cup, which Brazil won.
With "Atletico Mineiro" club this summer, Bernard also won another trophy - the "Copa Libertadores."
In total, Bernard played 76 matches for the Brazilian team, scored 16 goals, and made 19 assists.
