Yesterday, the final of the Portugal Cup took place, where Lisbon's "Benfica" and Setubal's "Vitoria" met. The footballers from Setubal managed to come back after an early conceded goal and achieved a sensational victory with a score of 1-2.

In the 4th minute of the match, the "SuperLiga" champions took the lead, after Geovanni was brought down in the penalty area by "Vitoria" goalkeeper Moretto. Although the goalkeeper guessed the direction of the ball, Simao Sabroso's penalty from eleven meters was unstoppable. After the goal, "Benfica" retreated to defend, but in the 25th minute defender Rocha sent the ball into his own net and the score became level, 1-1.

In the second half, "Benfica" dominated, but conceded a counterattack, during which Cameroonian Albert Meyong defeated Moreira. The Portuguese champions tried to salvage the game, but the result remained unchanged until the end of the match.

Therefore, for the third time in the history of their club, the footballers of "Vitoria" won the Portugal Cup, finishing only tenth in the league this season.
