The champion of the Netherlands, PSV Eindhoven, easily defeated the "Willem II" team 4-0 in the country's cup final on Sunday and won their first double since 1989.

W.Bouma scored the first goal for PSV with a header at the end of the first half, after M.van Bommel's penalty kick sent the ball into the goal. P.Cocu doubled the score in the 51st minute of the second half, J.S.Park added another goal in the 75th minute, and J.V.of Hesselink scored the fourth goal in the final moments of the match.

This was PSV's eighth victory in cup competitions, and Eindhoven club ended an amazing season, one of the most successful in its history - PSV won the double in the Netherlands and reached the Champions League semi-finals. Meanwhile, Willem II can be happy to have received a ticket to next season's UEFA Cup tournament for participating in the final.

These were the last games in PSV shirts for defenders Mark van Bommel, who will play for Barcelona next year, and Johan Vogel, who will move to AC Milan.
