On Saturday, seven matches of the French "Ligue 1" championship first round were played.
The wealthy "Monaco" club defeated the "Bordeaux" team away. The goals for the winners were scored by Emmanuel Riviere and Radamel Falcao.
The "Lyon" club, slightly weakened, showed no signs of weakness and easily defeated the "Nice" team. The team was led to victory by Alexandre Lacazette, who scored a brace, and Clement Grenier.
The victory was also won by the "Lille" team, who defeated the "Lorient" footballers. The only goal of the match was scored by 18-year-old forward from Belgium, Divock Origi.
On Sunday, the season will start for the "Saint-Etienne" and "Marseille" clubs.
