U-19 European Championship shining Lithuanian youth team defender Gratas Sirgėdas caught the attention of the "Stuttgart" club, playing in the German "Bundesliga" league.
The 18-year-old footballer scored three goals in this summer's European Championship held in Lithuania and was one of the top scorers in the tournament along with two other players.
G.Sirgėdas himself confirmed to the [link="nw_index.php"]Eurofootball.com[/link] portal that he visited Germany and reached an agreement with the "Stuttgart" club for a contract. Gratas is expected to undergo a medical examination in the near future.
For now, the Lithuanian has not officially signed a contract with "Stuttgart", but according to him, there is a 90 percent chance that he will reach an agreement with this club for a long-term contract, although he does not rule out other possibilities.
Until now, G.Sirgėdas has been training at the National Football Academy, but it seems that his career path will now lead him to Germany.
