London's "Tottenham" announced on their official website that they have acquired defensive midfielder Etienne Capoue from the "Toulouse" team.
The 25-year-old footballer has been linked to the team led by Andre Villas-Boas for some time. It is speculated that the Frenchman arrived in London for £9 million.
Last season, E. Capoue played 33 games in the French "Ligue 1" championship and scored seven goals.
The player, who has been playing for the national team since 2012, can also play as a midfielder, most likely replacing 32-year-old Scott Parker at "Tottenham," who is close to moving to QPR.
It is almost certain that the Frenchman will step onto the field from the first minute in the first English Premier League match against "Crystal Palace."
