Fernando Llorente categorically denied rumors that Turin's "Juventus" coach Antonio Conte is dissatisfied with his work.
Recently, there have been reports in the press that the Spaniard did not meet the expectations of the coach who triumphed in the Italian championship for two consecutive years.
In an interview with Spanish radio, F. Llorente assured that he gets along great with the "Juventus" coach.
"Conte's dissatisfaction with me is pure fiction. All these talks are just rumors. In reality, he is satisfied with my work. The pre-season camp required a lot of energy and hard work," said the nearly two-meter giant.
"Adaptation takes time. I was warmly welcomed at the "Juventus" club. I am integrating very quickly and for that I have to thank my teammates," he added.
When asked about the role assigned to him by A. Conte on the field, the 28-year-old footballer replied: "The coach wants me to play as a forward in the 3-5-2 formation. I am learning things I had never heard of before."
"Next Sunday we will compete in the Super Cup final against "Lazio". I really want to be fully prepared before the start of the Italian championship," noted F. Llorente.
