One of the leaders of the team that took fourth place in the Italian championship, defender Marek Jankulovskis, will play for the club next season. The amount of the deal is not disclosed, and the player has signed a four-year contract.
“It is a dream come true for me. Milan is a top-level club, it can't get any better,” Jankulovskis rejoiced at the transfer.
Rumors have been circulating for a long time that the versatile Czech national footballer would move to one of the big clubs in Italy, and on Monday this was confirmed by Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo, soon followed by an official announcement from Milan.
Last summer, Jankulovskis was close to moving to Juventus and Inter, and in January of this year it was reported that Milan had reached an agreement with Jankulovskis, and these speculations finally came true.
Versatile left-back M. Jankulovskis, who has previously played for Ostrava's "Banik" and Napoli, is now facing a two-month rehabilitation due to a recent injury.
