Ankle injury suffered Juventus defender Claudio Marchisio will miss a month of matches.

The Italy national team member got injured in the country's Supercoppa final against Lazio, which Juve won 4-0.

In the 21st minute of the match, after a collision with an opponent player, C. Marchisio had to leave the field due to knee pain.

MRI tests conducted on Monday revealed that the ligament in his right knee is damaged, causing the defender to be unable to play for 30 to 35 days.

C. Marchisio will have to miss Serie A matches against Sampdoria and Inter Milan, as well as the World Cup playoff matches against Bulgaria and Czech Republic.
