As reported, London's Arsenal has sent its representatives to Spain to negotiate the acquisition of goalkeeper Vicente Guaita with the Valencia club.

This summer, the 26-year-old footballer was linked with Barcelona, but Victor Valdes decided to stay for at least one more season, so the negotiations fell through.

Barcelona would have had to pay 30 million euros for the Spaniard. It is believed that V.Guaita is currently valued at 20 million euros and the "Gunners" hope to acquire the goalkeeper for this amount.

Various sources report that D.Guaita was disappointed after coach Miroslav Djukic chose Diego Alves as the main goalkeeper in the first matches of the Spanish "Primera" championship.

Nevertheless, the president of the "bats" team, Amadeo Salva, does not intend to give in and wants to receive 30 million euros for the goalkeeper.
