"We have dreams and we want to fulfill them against 'FC Salzburg' club," Marekas Zubas spoke at a press conference in Austria.

"I am happy to be here. We will meet an interesting opponent at a great stadium. I hope the team will show a beautiful fight. We are looking forward to the match," said the head coach of the Vilnius City Football Society "Žalgiris" on the eve of the match.

Respect for Austrian football

"Austrian football is similar to German - played solidly. The Austrian national championship is strong. I am also somewhat familiar with the national team and its players. Austria has a well-prepared tactical football," answered M. Zubas to the media representatives' questions about the football characteristics of their country.

Hopes for a new stadium in Vilnius

"Impressions from what I saw here, I can describe in only one word - amazing. Salzburg is a beautiful city with a great stadium. You know, the support and emotions of the fans in our stadium are just as good - whether 30 or 3 thousand spectators gather for the match. In Lithuania, 'Žalgiris' is attracting more and more attention. The interest and support of the citizens of Vilnius, as well as the mayor of the city, are very much felt. I hope that if we manage to defeat the 'FC Salzburg' club, next year we will have a new stadium in Vilnius," said the strategist of 'Žalgiris' with a smile.

Like a Lithuanian

"It is a great day for me and all the people of Lithuania. Despite being Polish, I feel close to Lithuanians. These matches are a great opportunity for Lithuanian football," Zubas revealed warm feelings for Lithuania in Austria.

Natural grass - no longer a problem

"Many ask if it will be difficult for us to play on natural grass. No, it poses no problems for us, and often even helps us. It is important for good players to spend at least a few hours on natural grass. Good players must adapt quickly to any surface. In this regard, our opponents in Vilnius will have more trouble than us," said the 'Žalgiris' leader.

The situation is different - the goal remains the same

"We play the first match away, which is somewhat unusual for us. Austrians are very aggressive in attack. I watched their national championship matches. After the last draw - they will be even more hungry. We are not the favorites, but I don't think my boys will get nervous, we were in a similar situation when playing against the Poznan team. We hope to show energetic and good football," said M. Zubas.
