The head coach of Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers, is convinced that Real Madrid will no longer be able to acquire Luis Suarez, because it is simply too late.
The transfer window is nearing its end, and the forward, who has been linked with Arsenal and Real all summer, is likely to remain at Anfield stadium.
The "Reds" strategist believes that these negotiations could have been resolved earlier, and now there is almost no chance that the royal club will attract the Uruguayan, although it is not ruled out that Suarez may still leave Liverpool.
"It would be very difficult to acquire Suarez at this time," said B. Rodgers. "There was enough time this summer, and now with only 11 days left, they will not succeed in getting him."
"We are trying to acquire one or two more high-class players. If we lose Luis, it will be very difficult to find someone who could replace him this season," added the coach.
