The matches of the 2nd round of the Spanish "Primera" championship.
The first match took place in Madrid, where the "small" city derby happened. "Atletico" did not leave any hope for "Rayo Vallecano" team with a 5-0 result in front of their own fans.
The scorers for the winners were Diego Costa, Arda Turan, Tiago and Raul Garcia scored twice.
In the evening Sunday match, "Barcelona" defeated the financially struggling team "Malaga" on the road.
The only goal of the match was scored by defender Adriano Correia right at the end of the first half, testing the goalkeeper's alertness from a distance.
