M.Ozil calms "Real" fans: I am proud of the club and want to stay © EuroFootball.com

After rumors that Mesut Ozil is unhappy with Madrid's Real club, reports emerged today in which the German stated that he wants to stay in Spain.

The press started claiming that M.Ozil is disappointed with the team and its coach Carlo Ancelotti, who replaced him in the match against "Granada" last Monday.

"It is a great honor for me to play for Real club. I am glad that several clubs are interested in me, but my decision is clear and I will stay in Madrid," stated M.Ozil.

The British media mentioned that the 24-year-old German national team player has attracted interest from "Man Utd" and London's "Arsenal."

Ozil arrived in Madrid in 2010, when he was noticed by Jose Mourinho. M.Ozil immediately became a key player and has played 158 matches, scoring 27 goals.

The footballer has a contract with the royal club until 2016, and is in no rush to extend it.
