During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the return leg of the "Supercopa" was played in Spain, where for the second time in a row the players of "Barcelona" and Madrid's "Atletico" clashed.

This time the match took place in Barcelona, at the "Camp Nou" stadium. A tough battle resulted in a goalless draw, which satisfied the Catalan team.

The first half began with a push from Gerardo Martino's pupils, but the defense of the visitors from Madrid did not crumble and withstood Barca's fast attacks.

After some time, the Catalans continued to control the game, but the Copa del Rey winners tested Victor Valdes multiple times after counterattacks, however the goalkeeper managed well at his goal.

The fight took place in every inch of the field and in the first 45 minutes, 3 cards were shown – two to the Barcelona team, one to Atletico, although the referee often had to calm down the furious players.

After a stubborn first half, the score remained the same, so the whole battle moved to the second half.

In the second half, the game was quite similar and both teams created many dangerous episodes, but they failed to score.

The decisive point at the end of the match could have been helped by Lionel Messi, but the forward failed to convert a penalty earned by Pedro.

Nevertheless, with the final whistle of the referee, the score remained 0-0, which meant that "Barcelona" won the Spanish "Supercopa" due to the away goal scored, which Madrid's "Real" won last season.

It's worth mentioning that two red cards were shown to the Madrid team. In the 81st minute, Filipe ("Atletico") was sent off the field, and during added time, Arda Turan, who was on the bench, also saw a red card for inappropriate behavior.
