Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben insists that he became a better player when coach Josep Guardiola joined the team.
The 29-year-old Dutchman has been in excellent form recently. Last season, the footballer shone, especially in the UEFA Champions League final, where he scored the decisive goal.
"It's a great honor to train with such a coach and I am looking forward to the new Champions League season," Robben said on the official UEFA website.
"Since the arrival of this strategist, I have become even better and more mature as a footballer. I trust Guardiola because he is exceptional," added the former Real Madrid player.
On Friday, the UEFA Super Cup match will take place, where Bayern will face Chelsea from London. The player himself is looking forward to this match and believes in his team's triumph.
"Chelsea have had two amazing seasons. I think it will be a great game," Robben concluded.
