On Friday evening in Monaco, the draw for the UEFA Europa League group stage was held, revealing the opponents that the teams will have to compete against.
For Vilnius "Žalgiris" opponents in the final qualifying round, "Salzburg" football players were drawn into Group C, where they will compete with the teams of "Elfsborg", "Esbjerg", and "Standard Liege".
Meanwhile, "Fenerbahce" took the place that the green and whites also hoped for, and the "APOEL" football players received relatively unfavorable opponents in Group F: "Bordeaux", "Eintracht Frankfurt", and Tel Aviv's "Maccabi" team.
Marius Stankevičius' "Lazio" club will have to face the Turkish "Trabzonspor", Polish "Legia", and the "Apollon" team from Cyprus.
The team "Shakther Karagandy", where Gediminas Vičius plays, will play in Group L along with the Dutch AZ, Greek "PAOK", and "Maccabi Haifa" from Israel.
The Romanian "Pandurii" with Deivydas Matulevičius made it to a tough Group E, where they will compete with the teams of "Fiorentina", "Dnipro", and "Pacos de Ferreira".
Meanwhile, Giedrius Arlauskis' Kazan "Rubin" in Group D will meet with the English "Wigan", Slovenian "Maribor", and Belgian "Zulte Waregem" football players.
