Madrid's "Real" finally officially announced the negotiations that took place on Sunday. It is announced on the Royal Club's website that they have managed to reach an agreement with London's "Tottenham" for the acquisition of winger Gareth Bale.
After the 3rd round of the Spanish "Primera" championship, the "Whites" have already announced the concluded deal with the "Spurs". It had been expected for some time that Bale would arrive in Madrid.
As announced on the official "Real" website, the 24-year-old footballer will sign a six-year contract with the new club, and tomorrow, at 2 p.m. Lithuanian time at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium, he will be officially presented as the new player of the Spanish vice-champions.
For now, it is not announced whether Florentino Perez paid a record sum for the footballer. For a long time, it was thought that Bale would cost "Real" 99 million euros, but according to the latest reports, he cost 84 million euros.
"All six years spent in Tottenham were amazing, but the time has come to say goodbye. I am delighted to have played in such a team," said Bale. "This club will always remain in my heart, and I believe that this season Tottenham will be successful. Now I will open a new chapter in my life, and it is Madrid's 'Real'."
The Wales international arrived at the "Tottenham" club in 2007 when he was sold by the "Southampton" team.
During six seasons in the London team, Bale played 203 matches and scored 55 goals.
The team led by Carlo Ancelotti has already acquired four players this summer. They are Daniel Carvajal, Casemiro, Isco, and Asier Illarramendi, with Gareth Bale becoming the fifth and most likely the last one.
