On Sunday evening, the last three matches of the 3rd round of the Spanish "Primera" championship were played.
At the "Mestalla" stadium, the Spanish champions Barcelona faced Valencia. After a tough battle, the Catalonians secured a narrow victory.
All three goals for the winners were scored by Lionel Messi, while Helder Postiga scored a brace for the "bats" team.
It is interesting that all five goals were scored in the first half, although in the second half both teams had great opportunities to score another goal.
In another match, Madrid's "Atletico" also celebrated a narrow victory against San Sebastiano's "Real Sociedad", while the match between "Sevilla" and "Malaga" ended in a draw.
