On Sunday, eight matches of the II Serie A championship were played in Italy, with no major surprises recorded.
The "Roma" team had no trouble with the players of "Hellas Verona". The capital team secured a victory after goals from Adem Ljajic, Miralem Pjanic, and an own goal by the opponents.
The same kind of victory, but away from home, was achieved by the "Inter" team against "Catania". The goals for the winners were scored by Rodrigo Palacio, Yuto Nagatomo, and Ricky Alvarez.
At home, the "Milan" team celebrated a victory against "Cagliari" after goals from Robinho, Philippe Mexes, and Mario Balotelli. Once again, the opposing team's striker Marco Sau found the back of the net.
A goal fest was recorded in Genoa, where the "Genoa" team lost 2-5 to the players of "Fiorentina". In the "Viola" team, Giuseppe Rossi and Mario Gomez scored twice, while Alberto Aquilani sent the ball into the net once. The hosts scored through Alberto Gilardino and Francesco Lodi.
