"Liverpool" club managed to strengthen their defense with two footballers on Monday morning. They acquired 23-year-old Senegalese national team member Mamadou Sakho from the "Paris Saint Germain" team.
Defender Sakho played for PSG for six years and participated in 151 matches, scoring seven goals. However, with Paris team strengthening their defensive line with famous and expensive names, the young defender had less playing time. M. Sakho was linked with several clubs in the summer, including "Barcelona", but chose "Liverpool".
The second acquisition by the leaders of the "Premier" League is 20-year-old defender Tiago Ilori from Lisbon's "Sporting". The young defender played for the B team of the Portuguese club last season.
"Stoke City" announced that they acquired striker Marko Arnautovič from the "Werder" team in Bremen. The 24-year-old Austrian signed a four-year contract with the English club.
