"Manchester United" confirmed on their official club website that Everton's goalkeeper Marouane Fellaini is moving to Old Trafford.
As reported, the Belgian national team member cost "Red Devils" 27.5 million pounds, and the player himself signed a long-term contract with the new club.
Talks about the possible acquisition of M. Fellaini had been circulating for a long time. David Moyes wanted to bring Leighton Baines to Man Utd as well, but only the Belgian will continue his career in Manchester.
"I am excited," - said M. Fellaini after signing the contract. - Every player dreams of playing in such a club, and at the moment I am very happy."
The 25-year-old goalkeeper arrived at Liverpool in 2008. During this time, the player participated in 177 matches and scored 33 goals.
This purchase was the second and final one for Man Utd, as the transfer window for players was officially closed.
The English champions were close to reaching an agreement with Real Madrid for a loan deal for Fabio Coentrao, however, these negotiations were destined to not happen.
