Legendary Italian player Gigi Riva stated that the scandalous striker Mario Balotelli could become the best Italian footballer of all time.
"He is capable of even surpassing my record of 35 goals for the national team. I have no doubt that in the next ten years Mario will be the main center forward in the 'azzurra' team," said Riva.
The 68-year-old Italian also did not hesitate to compliment the current coach of the national team, Cesare Prandelli.
"If in the future the coach decides to resign, it will be a huge loss. C. Prandelli has done a great job, but sometimes it happens - even Pep Guardiola left Barcelona when they were winning trophies," said the historical sports personality.
