London's Tottenham club strategist Andre Villas-Boas is convinced that his team is not capable of winning the Premier League title.
This summer, the Spurs team was busy and spent a total of 105 million pounds, but sold their team leader Gareth Bale.
Nevertheless, the Portuguese coach believes that high-level acquisitions do not guarantee good results in the near future.
"The circumstances are complex. Acquiring new players raised the bar, but now the players need to get used to each other," the strategist said.
"As a result, our competitors are one step ahead. In other teams, players have been playing together for several years, giving them an advantage.
"I am pleased with the start of the season, but losing to Arsenal is always tough for the team's fans. We will have to make an effort to return to the path of victories in the upcoming match against Norwich," Villas-Boas said.
After three rounds, the Tottenham team is in 6th place in the Premier League table with 6 points.
