On Saturday afternoon, two matches of the 28th round of the "SMScredit.lt A League" took place in Lithuania.
In Marijampolė, the local team "Sūduva" met Klaipėda's "Atlantas". After a fierce battle, the referee Gediminas Mažeika recorded a 1-1 draw.
The home team took the lead first, when in the 45th minute Klaipėda's defender Skirmantas Rakauskas scored an own goal.
The guests equalized the score in the 65th minute. "Sūduva's" gate was breached for the first time in this match by Evaldas Razulis, but neither team managed to score another goal for the rest of the time and they shared one point.
It is worth mentioning that in the 29th minute, "Atlantas" player Kazimieras Gnedojus was sent off the field for a second yellow card.
In other matches, the players of Pakruojis "Kruoja" secured a narrow victory, defeating their opponents from Tauragė with a score of 2-1.
