The first day in Valencia © EuroFootball.com

EuroFootball.com will report on all three days of the national team's presence in Valencia the hottest news from Spain.

Today, although delayed for an hour and a half, the Lithuanian national football team flew to Spain. The flight was delayed for a simple reason. Saulius Mikoliunas had forgotten his passport, so the whole delegation of almost 200 people had to wait for over an hour.

Although delayed, after a three-hour journey, the entire Lithuanian delegation arrived in the Spanish resort of Valencia. The entire team looked cheerful after the flight. Just after landing, the coach of the Lithuanian national team, Algimantas Liubinskas, approached Saulius Mikoliunas and asked, "Mika, do you have your passport?" All the team members around burst into laughter.

Just after leaving the airport, E.Jankauskas was surrounded by a crowd of Spanish journalists wanting to find out if the Lithuanian striker would be able to play against the Spanish national team. According to A. Liubinskas, there is little hope that the Lithuanian striker will play.

Later, the entire Lithuanian delegation was taken by buses to two hotels in Valencia. The Lithuanian youth and national teams are currently staying at one of them, while the rest of the Lithuanian delegation is at the other.

Around 9 PM Lithuanian time, both Lithuanian teams will train at the base on the outskirts of Valencia, and tomorrow at 11 PM Lithuanian time, the Lithuanian youth team will face off against their Spanish counterparts. More hot information will be provided by EuroFootball.com tomorrow.
