London's Tottenham defender Christian Eriksen is delighted to be compared to Mesut Ozil, but he believes he has not reached the level of the German yet.
Both defenders made moves to London clubs during the summer transfer window - Eriksen to Tottenham and Ozil leaving Real Madrid to join Arsenal.
The 21-year-old star of the Danish national team is aware of the rivalry between these clubs and knows that any talk about Arsenal players can upset Spurs fans.
"I think Ozil has achieved a bit more than me," the Dane said. "I am a few years younger and still have time to improve, but it is nice to be compared to such a great player."
"I heard that it's not good when a Tottenham player is compared to any Arsenal player. But actually, it's great when you are compared to such a fantastic player," concluded the former Ajax defender.
