The director of Juventus, Giuseppe Marotta, valued one of his leaders, Arturo Vidal, at a sum of 100 million euros.
This season, the midfielder, who was also of interest to Real Madrid this summer, has started off excellently - scoring three goals in three matches.
"If Gareth Bale is worth 100 million euros, so is A. Vidal. He is an excellent footballer. Real showed interest in him this summer, but we rejected the offer. The possibility of selling Vidal is not being considered at all," said G. Marotta.
It is reported that in the near future, the Chilean will be offered a new contract. His current contract expires in 2016.
The 26-year-old A. Vidal moved to Turin in 2011. At that time, Juventus paid only 12.5 million euros to Bayer Leverkusen for him.
