Legendary Italian footballer Francesco Totti has decided to end his career where he started.
The capital team of Italy officially announced that today the 36-year-old striker extended his contract with Roma until the end of the 2015/2016 season.
F. Totti has been playing for the capital team of Italy since 1992 and once won the "Serie A" championship (2000/2001), triumphed in the Italian Cup (2006/2007 and 2007/2008) competitions.
With his national team, the player has won the world championship (2006) and silver medals at the European Championships (2000).
