Madrid's "Real" defender Angel Di Maria admitted that last summer he seriously considered leaving the Spanish vice-champion club.
However, the Argentine changed his mind after talking to the new team coach Carlo Ancelotti and his friend in the national team Ezequiel Lavezzi.
"I decided to stay, despite the players who joined the team in the summer. I talked to Lavezzi and he asked me: 'Do you really want to leave?'
"And C.Ancelotti reassured me that better players will definitely get a chance on the field.
"I think Gareth Bale didn't train together with Tottenham for a while, so I will have opportunities," said Di Maria.
