"Barcelona" striker Patrick Kluivert said he would like to stay at the Spanish club, quieting rumors that the Dutchman will move to another club in the summer.
Rumors spread because "Barca" club is currently actively looking for new strikers. Frenchman David Trezeguet is currently on Spain's giants list.
Kluivert had already considered leaving the club last summer, but decided to extend his contract for another year.
Having recovered from his injury and played in the weekend match against "Villarreal", he says he is happy playing for "Barca".
"I have been playing here for 6 seasons, I am satisfied with it and hope not to miss any remaining matches of the season."
Kluivert also said he would be happy to extend his contract with the club and that he is not worried about rumors about other strikers linked to "Barca".
"Every year I hear various rumors, so I don't pay attention to them. The club will decide if they need a new number nine."
