Long-term Arsenal strategist Arsene Wenger is in no rush to extend his contract with the team, but he claims to love the club.
The largest shareholder of London's Arsenal club, Stan Kroenke, expressed confidence and support for the team's strategist and wants him to stay at the helm for as long as possible.
The Frenchman insists that a new contract is not his priority at the moment, but he has no intention of leaving the team.
"I would like to stay here forever, because then I would become immortal!" joked the 63-year-old coach.
"Of course, I love this club. It's good that I don't need many negotiations to extend my contract. I don't think that's the most important thing right now.
"I have said that I want to focus on this season and the quality of the team's play, but no one can doubt my dedication to the club. First and foremost, I want to do my job well, and questions about my future should remain on the back burner," said the Frenchman.
Arsene Wenger took over the helm of the Gunners in late September 1996.
