The sixth round of the English Premier League started with a real treat for football fans - the London derby between Tottenham and Chelsea clubs.
The teams' managers Andre Villas-Boas and Jose Mourinho engaged in a war of words before the match, giving fans the opportunity to determine which team is currently stronger under which coach's guidance.
At the beginning of the match, the home team took the initiative and managed to prove their superiority in the 19th minute when Gylfi Sigurdsson scored a goal after a combination with Christian Eriksen and Roberto Soldado.
After the goal, the game became balanced - neither team had a clear advantage, and the action quickly shifted from one penalty area to the other.
Chelsea's players started the second half more actively. They managed to equalize the score in the 65th minute when the team captain John Terry scored a header after a pass from Juan Mata.
After the goal, supported by their fans, Tottenham played more actively, and the Chelsea team had to defend.
The situation was made more difficult for the "aristocrats" when Fernando Torres received a second yellow card in the 81st minute, after which he had to leave the field.
Nevertheless, London's Chelsea club successfully defended and the city derby ended in a 1-1 draw.
