On Sunday, two matches of the Sixth Round of the Premier League were played in England.
On the road, Brendan Rodgers' coached team, Liverpool, managed to secure a victory against Sunderland, who currently occupies the last place in the league.
The first goal came in the 28th minute when the most prolific player of the team, Daniel Sturridge, scored after a corner.
Later, the same forward made an assist which was brilliantly utilized by Luis Suarez, who returned after suspension.
In the second half, there was a threat to the "Reds" victory when Emmanuele Giaccherini sent a long-range shot into Simon Mignolet's goal.
The match was sealed in the 89th minute with an additional goal from L. Suarez, assisted once again by D. Sturridge.
In another match, Norwich City won 1-0 against Stoke City away.
On Monday, the Sixth Round will conclude with a match between Everton and Newcastle.
