"Lazio" club faced UEFA sanctions © EuroFootball.com

"AS Roma" club from UEFA received sanctions - the team will have to play one Europa League match without spectators. This decision was made due to racist chants and banners by the team's fans in the match against Warsaw's "Legia" on September 19. "Lazio" team will have to play the match against "Apollon" on November 7 without spectators. The team was also fined 34,000 pounds sterling. This is not the first time the club suffers consequences from their own fans: last season, due to inappropriate behavior by spectators, similar sanctions were applied in the round of 16 and quarterfinal matches against "Stuttgart" and "Fenerbahce," respectively."
