C. Tevez: Italian football is the most challenging to play © EuroFootball.com

"Juventus" newcomer Carlos Tevez was deeply surprised when he tasted Italian football for the first time.

Last summer, the striker who arrived from "Manchester City" had no idea that the sport branch adored in the Italian peninsula would be so complex.

"I can share my thoughts on Italian football before coming here. I thought their game was easy, slow, and did not require much effort. It turns out, I was completely wrong," - smiled the Argentine.

"To be honest, I have never played a more complex football. Every detail here does not escape the eye. We sweat in training and pay a lot of attention to tactics. Before coming, I had a completely different opinion about the Italian football scene."

A lot of discussions were sparked by the club's decision to give Tevez the jersey marked with number ten, which previously belonged to Alessandro Del Piero, who rewrote "Juventus" history.

"Do you want to know the truth? I don't dwell on what number I wear on my jersey. Otherwise, I would just be putting unnecessary pressure on myself. In that case, you can play either better or worse."

"This time, I think the pressure would do more harm than good. That's why I play the same way I did in my childhood neighborhood. Now I can't start thinking about what has already passed," - reflected Tevez.
