"Juventus" president Andrea Agnelli admitted that it will be extremely difficult to retain the attention of the wealthiest European clubs by keeping the talented Paul Pogba.
The French national team midfielder joined the ranks of the Italian champions last year after refusing to sign a new contract with Manchester United.
The Frenchman of extraordinary talent quickly managed to break into one of the strongest defense lines in the world and this season became one of the key players of the team.
"I don't know if we could currently say 'no' to a gigantic offer for Paul Pogba," admitted the Juventus president.
"In my opinion, Italy has become not the final stop for footballers but only a temporary stay.
"I am trying to imagine how everything would unfold if in two or three years we received a huge offer for our most talented 20-year-old French player Paul Pogba," speculated A. Agnelli.
"Look at AC Milan. In order to pay their bills, they had to sell Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva. Today it's not enough to just be attractive, you also need to have a thick wallet," noted the Turin club's manager.
