Munich's "Bayern" defender Bastian Schweinsteiger believes that the German national team is capable of triumphing in the upcoming World Cup next summer.
The 2014 World Cup will take place in Brazil, where the Germans have already secured their spot.
"With 'Bayern' club we managed to win the UEFA Champions League, and now I want to become a World Champion," said B. Schweinsteiger.
"We still have plenty of time before the start of the championship, but we need to work hard if we want to think about winning," concluded the footballer.
The Germans secured their ticket to Brazil on Friday, when they defeated Ireland with a score of 3-0. Tomorrow Joachim Low's team will face Sweden in their last qualifying match.
