London's "Tottenham" club announced on their official website that defender Andros Townsend has signed a new four-year contract.
The 22-year-old footballer was loaned to London's QPR team last season, but this season the Englishman has successfully established himself in the main "Spurs" lineup.
The excellent play of the footballer did not go unnoticed, and England's national team coach called up A. Townsend, who managed to debut by scoring a goal.
"I am very happy to have signed a new contract. This is the perfect end to the week, and now I am looking forward to Sunday's match and victory," the Englishman wrote on his "Twitter" account on Friday.
This season, A. Townsend has stepped onto the field eight times for the London team and scored one goal.
