On Tuesday, the traditional UEFA Champions League group stage continues with another eight matches played.

Today, the matches of Groups E-H took place in European stadiums. Clubs finished the 3rd round without any major surprises.

The most attention-grabbing match between London's Arsenal and Dortmund's Borussia ended with a minimal victory for the latter, 1-2.

The first goal for the German visitors was scored by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but Arsene Wenger's disciples managed to equalize before the end of the first half when Olivier Giroud sent the ball into the opponents' goal after a defensive error.

In the second half, the "Gunners" dominated possession but failed to capitalize on it, and Robert Lewandowski sealed the deal in the 82nd minute.

Another interesting match took place at the San Siro stadium, where local Milan faced Barcelona. The winner in this pair was not determined, and the teams split the points.

The hosts surprisingly took the lead first. In the 9th minute, after a great pass from Kaka, his compatriot Robinho scored.

However, Barcelona's response was not long in coming - in the 24th minute, Lionel Messi defeated Marco Amelia, and neither team managed to score for the remainder of the match.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho's London Chelsea triumphed with little resistance away against Schalke in Gelzenkirchen.

The goals for the winners were scored by Eden Hazard and a brace from Fernando Torres, who scored in the 5th and 69th minutes.

On Tuesday, victories in the matches were also celebrated by Atletico Madrid, Celtic Glasgow, Zenit St. Petersburg, and Napoli clubs, while the meeting of Steaua Bucharest and Basel ended in a draw.
