J. Mourinho: players were "sloppy", but he fixed everything © EuroFootball.com

The Champions League tournament in London's Chelsea started with a sensational 1-2 defeat at home to Basel, but later recovered and won two consecutive victories.

"After the first match, I told my players that they 'messed up', so now they have to clean it up," - after the 3-0 win against Schalke in Gelsenkirchen, the 'Blues' coach Jose Mourinho said.

"And we managed to do it in the best way - two away wins, six points and the position of group leaders.

"Now we have two games at home. We have a great chance to advance to the next stage and our goal is first place in the group," - said the Portuguese.
