Real Madrid's coach Carlo Ancelotti praised his team's players after the loss in the "El Clasico" match and insisted that they had the initiative.
Yesterday at the "Camp Nou" stadium, Barcelona defeated the royal club by a score of 2-1, gaining a 6-point advantage over them in the Spanish "La Liga" championship.
A lot of discussions were sparked by Sergio Ramos' position in this match - he played as a defensive midfielder, and in the attack, it was not Karim Benzema, but Cristiano Ronaldo.
"The second half was better for us, and we attacked more than the opponents. Ball control belonged to us," Ancelotti said after the game.
"Ramos felt great in his new position. I wanted balance in the midfield, that's why I chose him in this position," the Italian stated.
The coach also expressed his opinion on the penalty kick when Cristiano Ronaldo was fouled in the penalty area.
"I think everything was clear in that episode, but the referee didn't see the infraction," Ancelotti concluded.
