Former London "Arsenal" club defender Andrey Arshavin criticizes the team's fans for poor support.
In 2009, Andrey Arshavin moved to "Arsenal" and initially shone in the team, but later his quality of play declined.
Currently playing for St. Petersburg's "Zenit," the footballer describes the atmosphere at the "Emirates" stadium as "strange" and claims that the "gunners" feel no home advantage.
"The atmosphere in the stadium was strange. People came to the matches like to a theater - expensive tickets, good seats, and it seemed like they were coming to see a show, not to support the team," the footballer told "The Sun."
"We didn't have any advantage playing at home. Many footballers who played at the 'Highbury' stadium also complained about the poor atmosphere in the stands," said the 32-year-old Arshavin.
The team moved to the "Emirates" in July, while they played at the old "Highbury" stadium for 93 years.
