Former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato revealed that he rejected an offer from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
In 2007, the Brazilian's career in Italy was plagued by injuries, so he decided to return to his homeland.
After joining San Paulo Corinthians in January, A. Pato attracted attention from Andre Villas-Boas' Spurs team this summer.
"We received a call this summer about my transfer, but after consulting with my agent, I decided that I want to stay here," said the player.
Meanwhile, Tottenham, after receiving a negative response from A. Pato, acquired Roberto Soldado from Valencia for 30 million euros.
